From Zero To Hero.

From Amateur to the World's Top.

One day I will cross the finish line on Hawai’i
and I am looking forward to the long way until
this moment.

Next Generation Ironman

My Road To Kona.

The fascination of the Ironman Triathlon. A challenge aiming to unite swimming, cycling and long distance running in one sport, which is in tune with body, mind and soul. Personality, physical strength and character is required when you step out of your comfort zone, pushing your limits in a quest for new borders. ___

Mythos.

A battle against some of nature’s hardest conditions: swimming 2.4 miles, cycling 112 miles and running for 26.2 miles is a huge physical and mental challenge. For all competitors of the Ironman Hawai'i their soul goal is to complete. It’s the athletes that often juggle family life, work and sport, who made the Ironman what it is today: A much desired lifestyle oozing health, fitness, discipline and reliability. Pure Passion.

Once the Ironman Hawai'i was considered an extreme sport and the toughest competition in the world. Today, Kona is still the ultimate in triathletes, but triathlon has long become a trend-setting lifestyle. What used to be the marathon today is the triathlon and the triathlon of swimming, cycling and running is the number one boomerang sport under the extreme sports.
