Season 2019

Races & Training.

My Road To Kona! Let's start on April 11th with a two-week training camp in Mallorca and the first race is the team sprint Triathlon bush huts (May 05th) on the program. It gets really serious only on 16 May at the Challenge Heilbronn, at the same time the German championship. Three weeks later and as the final form test of the somewhat sharper direction, I start at the Bonn Triathlon on June 09th, before it really counts for me on the last weekend of June: Ironman European Championship in Frankfurt. Yes, I face the very big boys, brings nothing when I go to Hawai'i and I'm really looking forward to the running track on the river Main, the skyline and the grandiose finish on Römerberg. One of my favorite races will be again in the middle of August with the Allgäu Triathlon in Immenstadt and on the 1st of September I will start again on the Ironman 70.3 Zell am See-Kaprun in Austria over a middle distance.___

Ironman.

And if I can stand on the legendary pier of Kona at the swim start on October 12th, unfortunately, I do not know that until the end of June. In any case, there is still a lot to do until then, many training kilometers in the water and on land are announced. With the new qualification mode and the slot system, of course, we professionals have changed everything again, the cards are shuffled and that means of course a completely different season planning than in previous years. Instead of pursuing the much-coveted points for the Kona Pro ranking for twelve months, we can now prepare ourselves for individual races again and make everything clear with a performance, which of course has its advantages.
